By downloading or using Shabbat Mode ("the App"), you agree to these terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your use of apps purchased through the App Store.
Subscriptions & Purchases
- The App offers weekly and yearly auto-renewable subscriptions.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
App Functionality
Shabbat Mode uses Apple's Screen Time framework to restrict access to apps you select during Shabbat. The App relies on your device's location to determine candle lighting and Havdalah times. Accuracy depends on your device's location services and the underlying astronomical calculations.
Religious Disclaimer
This app is a tool to assist with Shabbat observance. It should not be relied upon as the sole source for Shabbat times or halachic decisions. Always verify times with a trusted religious authority or established source. The developer assumes no responsibility for inaccurate times or missed observances.
Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
